Rue Morgue magazine has printed a full page feature regarding Studies in Modern Horror within their newest issue (no. 45, May 2005). The feature, written Monica S. Kuebler, is entitled "Dissecting HORROR Lit" (pg. 61) and includes excerpts from an interview conducted with SiMH editor NGChristakos.
While the feature itself did contain a couple of inaccuraces, we are overall very proud to have one of the Seele Brennt Publications journals recognized in this manner.
The September/October 2004 issue of Rue Morgue magazine (issue no. 41) mentions Studies in Modern Horror during the course of Monica S. Kuebler's excellent overview of Jack Ketchum's career, "Words That Wound" (pages 116-117).
Unfortunately, due to a typographical error, our scholarly journal is accredited as Modern Studies in Horror instead of the proper title. The errata regarding this appears in the November/December issue (no. 42) on page 7; "Last issue, Rue Morgue incorrectly identified the literary journal on pg. 116. In fact, its title is Studies in Modern Horror."
